Press Release MarketingThis is a featured page

Press Releases can be written about almost anything. If you would like examples of what some companies write about just head over to PRWeb - and see some of the latest that come down the pike. Some of them quite frankly - leave a lot to be desired, while others read like bona fide news.

The key is to write something that not only promotes your site/service but doesn't sound like a sales pitch. Press releases are news stories, not marketing pages. They are designed to get people to go visit your site, pick up the phone, etc. Not go out and buy your product.

When done properly - press releases will normally be accepted by the press release distribution sites. When written poorly or too much like a sales pitch - most will be rejected.

There are many services that will write a press release, some for as low as $25 and the sky is the limit for a high price.

The options for distribution include

  • Free sites
  • Paid sites
  • Free service
  • Paid service
  • Software to submit to free sites
  • Outsourcing
